Each star system has a single primary star in the center of the system.
You cannot warp directly to a star nor enter it in any way.
They are represented on the map by a sun icon.
The color and type of icon is determined by the type of star that it is.
Rogue sectors will not have a star.
This star type determines the type of star system, the ambient light, the distance planets are from the star, etc.
This is the only star that is used for solar power calculations.
A star system can contain multiple secondary stars.
These extra stars do not give off light and do not count for solar power calculations.
They are purely decorative.
